Researchers at GE’s research lab in Niskayuna, New York have come up with an ingenious method of manufacturing being dubbed “3D Painting.” This method is much faster than traditional manufacturing methods of milling or welding and does not rely on heat which can alter the properties or shape of the part you are working on. This opens up brand new doors for automated manufacturing methods and could have a future in many different industries around the world.
