Stratasys has added their expertise to a project to build a 13.5-foot tall creature for Comic-Con. The larger than life creature named “Bodock” is made with a multitude of parts and materials but about 33% of him is 3D printed. Legacy Effects lead systems engineer Jason Lopes praised the use of 3D printing technology and said that “the true value of using Stratasys 3D printing on the Bodock project was the time savings – being able to go directly from design to the end use part without having to add additional steps in the process.” To read more about this event you can view it on the Stratasys blog.
