The good astronauts at the ISS have been having a lot of fun lately. They are the first people to be a part of manufacturing the objects outside the Earth’s atmosphere. Two articles from 3Dprint.com have highlighted their achievements, the first one being about the wrench they printed for practical use, and the other article being a general overview of all the objects they have printed so far. It is a great view into the kind of research they plan to do using 3D printing, as well as the practical applications 3D printing has for not only space travel,but in other scenarios where remote location make shipping parts unefficient. What a time to be alive, the future is finally here!
