Watch out Universe, human manufacturing is coming to take over! NASA presented the first ever 3D printed part in space (pictured below) using the 3D printer on the ISS. It is a replacement part for the printer itself, but many other parts will be printed from this machine while it is in orbit. This is a great day for not only space travel enthusiasts but also manufacturing enthusiasts, as it starts to bring the fictional realm and real world closer together.
