Guardians of the Galaxy used 3D printed costumes and props to cut lead times in half

Stratasys customer and move prop maker FBFX studios used 3D printing technology to create props and costume parts to help cut the lead times down by 50%. Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the biggest summer blockbuster films, a new fun group superhero movie like the Avengers, but set in space. This futuristic and unique world called on creative designs that lended themselves perfectly to 3D printing technology.
